My name is Russell Howe an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and turkey hunter. I’m a longtime supporter
of the NWTF/NRA.

My calls are hand made one at a time. Built, assembled, finished personally by myself. Each call is tested for Sounds. I prefer to use local hardwoods, on occasion I’ll use some exotics. However, custom wood and built to your specs if you desire. Each call come with a life time warranty.

Since College I’ve had an interest in woodworking. My shop grew every year, whether building cabinets, shelves, or some project. I began making calls a years ago. I started with Both box and pot calls. I just loved working on the lathe, so I experimented more with those calls. I began to show other turkey hunters, and they all loved them, and wanted one. So I decided to start HC-Calls (Howe’s Custom Calls).

The mission at Howe’s Custom Calls is to produce the highest quality, best sounding calls we can one at a time. We believe in sustainable forestry practices, and hope to one day mill all the wood from our own logs, and our land.
